Wikipedia:a potpourri of knowledge

The vision of making information
accessible to all the human beings without any restriction
and allowing them to share their knowledge is materialized
by the 'Wikipedia'.
The notable features are:
1) People can start it in their own language. Thus providing
good opportunity to strengthen knowledge base
in their languages.
2)The categorization of the related items make researching easier..
3)A moderating body should monitor all the entries time and
again to make the information more accurate and reliable.
Still, majority of people are not aware of its existence. It must be
re-introduced to the intelligentia (professors, teachers, students)
in the developing countries.
